Teatowel- Renee Treml Echidna

Renee Treml writes and illustrates children’s stories inspired by Australia’s wildlife.

The echidna has spines like a porcupine, a beak like a bird, a pouch like a kangaroo, and lay eggs like a reptile.  Also known as spiny anteaters, they’re small solitary mammals native to Australia.  They’re usually between 30 cm & 47 cm long and weigh between 1.5 kgs & 4.5 kgs.
